NJ Employer Farmworkers & Laborers, Crop in Wayne, New Jersey

Anticipated period of employment: 04/01/2024 to 12/08/2024.

Three months of verifiable experience required harvesting a perishable crop. Applicants must furnish affirmative job references from recent employers.

Workers will plant, cultivate, and harvest vegetable crops grown on employer's farm. Workers will work transplanting, hoeing, hand weeding, installing and removing drip irrigation and plastic, hand seeding, and general crop care up to and after harvest. Must be able to lift 75lbs. Workers may perform support duties such as, operation of tractors, or other farm equipment, packing, and general orchard/field maintenance. See ETA 790/790A for a complete job description

Interested candidates should contact their local State Workforce Office to receive a copy of the ETA 790/790A and applicable attachments. Applicants should be fully appraised by their local employment office of the terms, conditions, and nature of employment prior to referral. Once the applicant has a copy of the job order (ETA 790/790A) they may apply directly to the employer by calling Todd Kuehm to schedule an appointment for an interview. Monday-Thursday between the hours of 8am to 12pm.
