JOB REQUIREMENTS: A Signature Two Company Hair Stylist is a licensed professional responsible for providing quality haircare services and products to guests in a friendly, professional manner, striving to achieve high levels of guest satisfaction and guest retention. The stylist will accomplish this by following company principles for guest service, using company-selected techniques effectively, creatively and with efficiency. The stylist provides selected hair care services, such as shampooing, cutting, coloring, perming, relaxing, and styling hair, and removing hair using tweezers and hot wax. The stylist will also participate in company-sponsored events that enhance the communities in which we operate, and enhance the reputation and desirability of the company\'s services and products. Job responsibilities may include Analyze guests\' hair and other physical features to determine and recommend services, products and hairstyles. Bleach, color, or tint hair, using company-supplied materials. Comb, brush, and spray hair or wigs to set hairstyles. Create updos or elegant hairstyles for formal events such as prom, weddings, or other occasions. Educate the customer and recommend products to help the customer maintain his/her hairstyle between store visits. Demonstrate and sell hair care products. Clean and maintain the cleanliness of all salon areas. Clean and sanitize tools such as shears, trimmers, clippers, combs and brushes. Schedule guest reservations. Operate computer-based tools including a POS system to sell products and services to guests and Receive cash and credit card payments. Update and maintain customer information records, such as the services provided. Receive product and salon equipment shipments. Organize products and salon equipment on shelves and in storage areas. Count product inventory and record information in computer systems. Demonstrate products and services to guests and to other company employees. Attend required training and employee meeting sessions. Maintain effective financial controls, including, Correctly charging guests for services provided and products purchased, including proper discounting according to company guidelines - Effective control of salon operating costs relating to back-bar and retail inventories, and, - Safeguarding company assets by adhering to company policies and procedures. Demonstrate knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: State of Wisconsin Cosmetology or Barbering License required.
