Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an HR Specialist in Washington, District of Columbia, United States. The successful candidate will be primarily tasked with full-cycle recruiting, scheduling interviews and phone screenings, document collection, onboarding, filing a backlog of personnel records, and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing candidates and scheduling interviews

• Conduct phone screenings to evaluate candidate qualifications

• Manage document collection and maintain accurate records

• Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires

• File and organize a backlog of personnel records

• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations

• Utilize skills in Onboarding, Recruiting, Compliance, and Filing to perform tasks efficiently and effectively. Requirements • Possesses a minimum of three years of experience in the HR field

• Proficient in onboarding new employees and integrating them into the company culture

• Demonstrated skills in recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates

• Knowledgeable about compliance regulations and procedures in HR

• Familiar with filing systems and able to maintain organized and accurate records

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective coordination with team members and stakeholders

• Strong problem-solving abilities to address HR-related issues efficiently

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Proficient in HR-related software and tools

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferable

• HR certification, such as PHR or SPHR, is a plus.
