Global Resource Solutions Deputy Program Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia

Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, detail orientated, and talented individual for the position of Deputy Program Manager (PM).

Job Description:

Summary: GRS is seeking a qualified Deputy Program Manager to be responsible for assisting the Program Manager with organizing programs and activities for stakeholders.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Case processing and workflow management, rendering suitability and fitness recommendations.

  • At minimum three years of experience as a program/project manager supervising individuals responsible for rendering interim and final suitability and fitness recommendations.

  • Have successfully completed formal training in conducting suitability adjudications in support of suitability and fitness decisions in compliance with National Training Standards established by OPM. Preferred course - Essentials of Suitability Adjudications conducted by OPM.

  • Developed and implemented training programs/briefings

  • Experience drafting policies and standard operating procedures for personnel security operations including both security and suitability

  • Experience in drafting annual assessment reports that detail operational efficiencies, identify inefficiencies with mitigation plans, and assist with program improvement strategies with both long-term and short-term milestones.

  • Must possess a favorably adjudicated background investigation completed within the last five years at the BI, Tier 4 level or SSBI, Tier 5 level;

  • Working knowledge of personnel security and suitability reform to include the Trusted Workforce, principles of reciprocity and insider threat programs.

  • Must possess and demonstrate an applied knowledge of utilizing the GSA Access system to HSPD-12 PIV sponsorship credentials to grant logical and physical access.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in personnel security and suitability adjudication on behalf of the Federal Government

Security Requirements:

  • Must possess a favorably adjudicated background investigation completed within the last five years at the BI, Tier 4 level or SSBI, Tier 5 level;

Physical Requirements: This position requires employees to be willing and able to: sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.

Communication: Excellent customer service via phone and face to face conversation, excellent written and oral command of English.
