What You Will Do :

Guidehouse is seeking a Change Management & Communication Senior Consultant to join our Defense and Security Segment, where they will lead workforce transformation efforts for the Department of the Navy Financial Management (DON/FM) organization. The Change Management & Communication Senior Consultant will support a workstream in support of the development of Change Management Strategies and Strategic Communication. Working under the direction of a Managing Consultant, the Change Management & Communication Senior Consultant will assist in fostering adoption of workforce related changes including revised hiring, retention, performance management, and workforce development processes among other functions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development of change management and communications strategies and accompanying implementations plans

  • Supporting stakeholder analyses and the development of stakeholder personas and journey maps

  • Supporting the development of stakeholder engagement approaches and initiatives

  • Supporting the development of multi-channel communications products for communicating with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders

  • Assisting in the development of metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of change and communications initiatives and activities

  • Assisting in preparation of and leading internal and external stakeholder discussions, client meetings, and leadership briefings

  • Supporting multiple concurrent assignments while ensuring technical accuracy, adherence to standards, and timely delivery of all products

  • Supporting the preparation of a wide range of briefing materials and concise summaries of assessments, evaluations, and plans communicate program status and progress to senior leaders

What You Will Need :

  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET federal security clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Three (3) plus years of relevant experience leading change & communications efforts, and directing the work of a team

  • Ability to travel

  • Ability to work onsite at client location(s) as needed

What Would Be Nice To Have :

  • An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance; or higher

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications

  • Certified Change Management Professional Certification, PROSCI or other change management credentials

  • Consulting experience leading change & communications efforts, and directing the work of a team for the DOD or Navy

  • Understanding of DOD financial management policies and programs

  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of business, both written and verbal

  • Ability to adapt quickly and develop successful professional relationships

The annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
