allego Senior Director of Revenue Operations in Waltham, Massachusetts

The Senior Director of Revenue Operations at Allego is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the Sales and Marketing teams through effective processes, tools, and analytics. This role involves leadership, coordination, and management of various support functions including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and systems development. This role also involves developing revenue strategies, managing sales operations, overseeing marketing operations, optimizing customer success, and utilizing data analytics for informed decision-making.

The Senior Director will act as a strategic advisor to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Sales Leadership team, ensuring integration with other functions such as Account Management, CI and Marketing to improve sales performance and outcomes.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Process Design and Management:

  • Develop and implement end-to-end sales processes, policies, and operating procedures.

  • Integrate sales processes seamlessly with upstream (Marketing) and downstream (Finance and Customer Success) functions.

  • Reduce administrative burden on sales reps and managers systematically.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead a team encompassing Sales Operations, Salesforce Administration, and Marketing Operations functions.

Sales Intelligence:

  • Define, measure, and monitor key sales performance metrics.

  • Provide data, analysis, and insights to CRO and Sales Management for improving performance.

  • Deliver accurate sales forecasting to CRO and Executive Management.

Business Planning:

  • Direct sales-related activities related to fiscal year planning, quota setting, budgeting, and business readiness processes.

  • Manage global sales forecasting process and data for planning and budgeting.

  • Implement Compensation Planning including plan development and analysis.

Sales & Marketing Tools & Systems:

  • Select, implement, and maintain sales tools ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

  • Manage systems including Salesforce.com, HubSpot integrations, lead scoring, territory building, and reporting.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with financial, operational controls, and relevant regulatory requirements.

  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Finance, Marketing, Sales, or a business-related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.

Experience You Will Bring:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Sr. level roles within Revenue Operations or finance roles, preferably in SaaS-based technology companies.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Strong understanding of sales and business roles and their interactions.

  • Ability to collaborate and influence sales personnel and management.

  • Expertise in Salesforce.com, HubSpot, SQL/MQL flow, CPQ, lead scoring, and reporting.

  • Proficient in process optimization and change management.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
