Description

Our client located in Waller, TX is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. They Accounts Payable Specialist must have 2+ years of full cycle AP using SAP. The AP Specialist will be responsible for PO and Non-PO invoices, expense reports, 1099's, heavy data entry, and month end close. The Accounts Payable Specialist must have experience with high volume invoices, and SAP is an absolute must have. This is a direct hire opportunity paying up to 60K plus benefits working 4 days in office and Fridays from home.

Your responsibilities

  • Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks

  • Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies

  • Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

  • Manage full-cycle A/P

  • Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners

  • Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

  • Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling

  • Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it

  • Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

    Requirements - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

  • Spreadsheet and database capabilities

  • AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

  • Accounts Payable (AP) experience

  • Command of SAP

  • Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

  • 3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
