What you`ll do:

Summary:

As part of the SAP Security Compliance and Trust Office, the Customer Awareness and Audit Team advocates on behalf of our customers by influencing our business partners with data, anecdotes, and information to spotlight issues that need attention and focus. This role will help enable all of the other teams within SAP to to be more effective. Our program also is offered to external customers providing the right level of assurance in cases where these parties invoke their "Right to Audit" to SAP products and services.

Facilitating audits is both a regulatory requirement and contractual obligation. If SAP does not provide a contractual audit right and facilitate audits and assurance activities, regulated customers cannot use the our products and services.

The Role:

The Principal Program Manager brings a strong customer centric approach and strategic judgment to decisions. They are a functional leader within SAP who will collaborate and coordinate with others to support all aspects of enhancing the Customer Awareness and Customer Audit organization. This includes but not limited to the implementation, maintenance, and coordination of customer escalations, security audits, as well as tracking and reporting of SAP Trust issues, to appropriate levels of management. The candidate will also provide the operational support for the Customer Audit and Customer Enablement programs through monitoring and analysis, and assessment activities. This strong team leader is expected to have a high level of attention to details, a confirmed interest in compliance & security, as well a process-oriented and fostering the global mindset.

  • Identify and lead projects to support internal Customer Awareness and Audits Teams.

  • Establish mechanism to track and report on all Internal metrics and KPIs (input goals)

  • Streamline overhead to focus teams on work and delivery, revisiting tools as teams grow to ensure they are still value-added.

  • Work cross-functionally and across geographies with stakeholders at all levels to define key messages and themes to drive awareness and adoption of programs and initiatives

  • Advise and influence leadership and stakeholder teams on various trade-off decisions

What you bring:

  • 7 years of working cross functionally within a large technology company teams experience

  • 7 years of program or project management experience

  • 7 years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
