Purpose of Job This casual position is responsible for carrying out programs and treatment, or portions thereof, as planned with an Occupational Therapist. Job Functions Performs treatment and documents care, and collaborates with Occupational Therapist regarding discharge recommendations. Understands and uses reimbursement and regulatory guidelines for care and environment. Understands and uses patient and clinic operations following Rehab Specialties policy and guidelines. Provides effective supervision of aides, students and volunteers when occupational therapy is provided. Provides professional and courteous customer service to internal and external customers. Performs other duties as assigned. Provide current and quality treatment, utilizes Ridgeview and professional resources to promote continued quality care Exhibits working knowledge of hours of operation, customer base, department operations, visit procedures, and chart audit procedures. Communicates with patient, health care providers, insurer and others to ensure that patient needs are addressed.
