Title : Accounting Analyst Work location : Kenworth Montreal (7500 Rte Transcanadienne, Saint-Laurent, QC H4T 1A5, Canada) Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00PM Salary: between $65-75K

    Summary of responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in the process of purchase invoices’ recordings and truck sales transactions, including calculating the sales representatives’ commissions ;

  • Build trusted relationships with our suppliers by processing O&I and inventory invoices in a manner that meets payment deadlines, as well as performing routine supplier statements’ audits ;

  • Process employee expense accounts by validating that the expense classification, tax processing and supporting documents provided are adequate ;

  • Ensure financial statement integrity by tracking, reconciling and accounting analysis of various assigned GL accounts, including tracking prepaid accounts;

  • Play a key role in the closing process of the accounting month by recording the necessary amounts;

  • Actively participate in the implementation, execution and monitoring of internal controls across our seven branches to ensure financial statement integrity ;

  • On a monthly-basis, travel to other branches (Laval, Vaudreuil, St-Eustache, Mirabel, St-Jérôme, Lanoraie).

    Qualifications:

  • DEC in Accounting or BAC in Accounting (an asset) ;

  • 3 to 5 years accounting experience ;

  • Experience in accounts payable (an asset) ;

  • Good knowledge of IT tools including advanced Excel ;

  • French and English (speak, write and read – intermediate level as you will need to communicate with suppliers outside of Quebec in the processing/validating of their financial account)

  • Access to a vehicule for traveling purposes ;
