Position Summary:

The Comparator Project Manager is responsible for the overall coordination and communication of projects for the sourcing of comparator products. With the assistance of Sourcing Specialists and supply chain coordinators, you ensure that we could provide the appropriate solution to client and timely complete the delivery on customer's demand and Fisher's quality standards.

You act as the primary point of contact for clients, from a first customer request, advising on appropriate sourcing strategy, providing timely and accurate communication and information for all relevant activities related to comparator projects, both internal and external. This is to ensure that the products are ready for the start of the study or as required by the customer. Timely preparation of reports and other information to customers is also required.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with China customer or internal requestor at the time of the request to understand project scope and constraints. Capture those elements in internal systems, organize internal kick-off meeting (if applicable), and ensure proper handover to global sourcing team.

  • Evaluate the alternatives provided by the sourcing team, select the suitable solution for the customer and prepare a quote for the customer.

  • Place sourcing strategy and to combine available information (competition, sources) to position an offer with the best solution under supervision

  • Recognize customer needs based on available information, understand and applies quality principles as per SOP

  • Follow up actively with internal requestor or customer until the final decision is made and update internal databases as per requirement.

  • Performs the documentation to enable handover of the confirmed project to back-office team. Follow up internally with the sourcing team, BO and QA team to ensure proper update to the customer regarding project advancement and completion.

  • Maintain and share an overview of ongoing projects with the customer through action/project tracker, SharePoint. Lead discussions and status update through teleconferences.

  • Participates in the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) and other meetings with Customer and Suppliers and actively lead the preparation of these meetings

  • Understand China Import and Export regulations and documentation requirement, to assist China logistics team to conduct global sourcing and import into China.

  • Serving as the leader of the China comparator PM team, timely and effectively allocating PM resources to support constantly changing customer requirements. Guide and lead the team to further enhance global harmonization while continuously improving customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Advanced education min. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the related field.

  • 3-5 Years Minimum Experience within Pharmaceutical Industry or equivalent. Priority given to those with practical team management experience.

  • Experience in commercial/clinical pharmaceutical supply chain.

  • Multi-tasker, diligent with strong influencing, and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and exercises good judgment and appropriate discretion when reaching conclusions.

  • Fluent in Chinese and English, other languages a plus.
