Major responsibilities:

  • Responsible for repairs of Steam turbine Rotor, sub assemblies and other auxiliaries.

  • Responsible for providing cost input to sales team

  • Responsible for machining/assembly of Rotor and sub assemblies

  • Supervising and motivating our team of Service Technicians and proactively reviewing daily workload to seek opportunities that will help to drive project.

  • Monitoring and execution of all critical repair activities of industrial steam turbines as mentioned below for continual improvement with technicians, related internal – external customers and organization.

  • Follow up with Engineering team for the release of BOM, drawings & specifications.

  • Well versed with EDMS for machine details like drawing, BOM, parts etc.

  • Read component drawings and coordinate with operator to make them understand for clarity. Also, coordinate with engineering team for more detailed inputs like BOM & Drawings for more clarity.

  • Coordination for the servicing of sub-assemblies, i.e., servomotors, safety blocks, ESV controller device, servomotors & P governor of Single stage machines which includes identification of worn-out/damages parts, new parts requisition, arrange & get those parts issued to assembly team.

Time & Cost Management:

  • Execution of all repair jobs, ensuring on time delivery, within considered cost and finalized scope.

  • Creation of job schedule as per finalized scope and tracking the progress.

  • Maintaining rout card for individual project for material movement & evaluation of planned vs actual time for individual activities.

  • Processing & record of Non-Conformance through the system and report the same.

  • Coordinate with different functions within the organization and customer for the timely execution of projects.

SPIRIDON experience:

  • Working on SAP for workshop execution requirements and management of data related to repair activities.

  • Well versed with SAP in day today activities as mentioned below:

  • Creation of Material master

  • Creation of purchase requisitions

  • Create & Maintain Material BOM in SAP

  • Stock/inventory check

  • Allotment of costs & services to WBS number/Project

  • Evaluate of different reports CCM report, POC report, vendor Master lists, Material masterlist

  • Creation& Release of production order

  • Maintaining of minimum stock requirements

  • PR-PO report.

EHS:

  • Ensuring completion of repair activities with adherence to safety regulations.

  • Implementation of EHS guidelines at shop floor activities.

  • Coordinate for the mitigation of risks and take corrective actions to ensure safe working environment.

  • Coordinate for the timely calibration of lifting tools & Tackles.

ISO:

  • Participating in internal & external audits for renewal of ISO certification.

  • Compilation & preparation of fact finding and final repair report for final submission to customer.

  • Maintain all project related documents i.e., customer PO, job schedule, input costs, cost to sales, copy of minutes of meeting etc., required for audit review meetings.
