Summary/Objective The Human Resources Manager coordinates and performs activities for the overall administration and evaluation of HR plans and programs, including talent management, employee engagement and talent acquisition. The professional in this position will also contribute to the financial goals of the organization through identification and management of risks associated with employment law. Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies, procedures, department goals, objectives, and systems in accordance with company objectives and legal requirements. Manages the recruitment process for all exempt and nonexempt personnel at Corporate office. Supports leaders with employee relations, employee development, performance improvement plans, terminations, documentation, and internal investigations. Partners with Global Talent Management and Employee Engagement to support talent programs and initiatives, such as the performance management process, including communication, timely participation, training, documentation, and compliance, as well as others. Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed. Ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations, and reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance. Works closely with and provides back-up support to the other Human Resources Managers based in our South Metro plants to ensure continuity of care for those employees and leadership team. Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned. This is largely a sedentary role; however, employee may be required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, kneel and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and color vision. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travel Little to no travel is expected for this position. Required Education and Experience Bachelors Degree. Minimum of 3 years of HR Experience. Preferred Education and Experience Masters Degree.
