Regent Bank Loan Operations Specialist in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Summary:

Responsible for working with lenders bank wide to help clear various exceptions. This position is also responsible for reviewing loan files & maintaining our bank wide HMDA Lar. Will be cross trained on all aspects of our Escrow department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with various lenders within the bank to request and clear loan/financial exceptions

  • Scan all exception items into our banks loan imaging system. Clear and reset dates for continuing exceptions

  • Review all loans, including denied or withdrawn applications, for HMDA purposes

  • Gather/Review HMDA information and input into HMDA Lar

  • Work closely with auditors regarding HMDA regulations/compliance

  • Will be cross-trained to pay insurance, taxes and perform annual escrow analysis

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Education And/Or Experience:

  • One to three years of previous banking experience.

  • Preferred experience with HMDA and Escrow

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Detail oriented and ability to work under pressure of deadlines

  • All candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment background, credit, and drug screening

    Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Sitting for long periods of time.

    Working Conditions:

    General comfortable environment. Noise, heat, dust and other problems are minimal. Unpredictable hours, sometimes exceedingly long in order to correct mistakes whether or not related to computer failure or unusually heavy client traffic. Exposed to a potentially hazardous condition, i.e. robbery. All employees are required to maintain a neat and safe work area.
