\ Pima Countys Department of Finance and Risk Management is seeking a dynamic, motivated intern to join our Financial Control and Reporting Division. This position is primarily responsible for preparing journal entries for interdepartmental charges, preparing monthly financial statements according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and performing analyses on the financial statements to ensure accuracy. The position also helps prepare year-end financial reports for inclusion in the Countys Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.
