ITW Electrical Lead in Tualatin, Oregon

Work hands-on within the existing framework of legacy product lines to construct and manage the construction of electrical controls and power distribution systems. Become a product leader and subject matter expert by refining existing products & processes. Assist with organizational streamlining and manage department goals for safety, efficiency, and throughput. Work with engineering to communicate improvements and facilitate best practices.

Essential Skills:

  • Work hands-on to wire and facilitate others to wire and construct industrial controls and power distribution systems based on detailed schematics and

  • Knowledge of UL, NEC, NFPA 70, or other related standards

  • Proficiency with 208v and 480v 3-Phase Electrical Systems.

  • UL 508A Control Panel Experience.

  • Electrical materials/component knowledge, circuit design observing appropriate SCCR & AIC.

  • Working knowledge of relay logic, High/Low voltage systems, sizing of wire & electrical components.

  • Identify existing components and products within the family of brands that can be utilized to improve functionality or reduce costs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to generate & read complex electrical schematics and understand their practical assembly.

  • Cursory understanding of components of solid-state circuits as well as analog & digital control systems.

  • Prior experience working with PLCs.

  • Team player with the ability to work in a manufacturing environment to meet customer deadlines.

  • Professional, reliable & personable, with great attention to detail & organizational skills.

Preferred Skills (not required):

  • Capacity to fabricate plumbing & natural gas systems.

  • Ability to weld & finish stainless steel.

  • AutoCAD or other experience in drawing schematics.

  • Prior experience in programing PLCs.

  • Prior experience with development of PCBs and other integrated circuits for electrical systems.

  • Previous background or hobby with engines, sensors, recreational vehicles, cars systems, or other related technologies.

  • Some former exposure to inventory management.

  • Prior experience working with ERP systems (SYSPRO preferred).

Salary Range: $33/hr. - $37/hr.
