HTC Global Services, Inc. has an opening for the position of Solution Architect (Ref# SA510AS) to work in Troy, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.  

JOB DUTIES: Define, design, and deliver architecture-based solutions to application development projects that align to client patterns and standards for enterprise systems. Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and design robust and scalable data solutions on Azure. Identify client requirements by detailed discussions/meetings with client, functional users, functional/technical consultants, and product owners to collect requirement specifications, metrics, and key performance indicators. Analyze complex business problems in the existing system by collaborating with end  users. Prepare flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate the software architecture that meets client requirements in an effective and cost-efficient manner. Collaborate with data scientists, data analysts, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand the data requirements and deliver data solutions that meet their needs. Prepare test plan based on the system requirements specification. Prepare system requirements specification documents. Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingesting data from various sources into Azure. Perform data transformation, implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to cleanse, transform, and enrich data. Manage data storage solutions in Azure, ensuring data is stored efficiently, securely, and compliant. Design and implement data models, including dimensional and tabular models. Monitor and optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness leveraging Azure tools. Implement security measures to protect sensitive data. Establish data governance practices, including data cataloging, data lineage tracking, and metadata management to ensure data quality and traceability. Implement automation and DevOps practices to streamline deployment, testing, and monitoring of data pipelines and data solutions. Integrate data solutions with other Azure services and applications. Develop and maintain disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure data availability. Maintain comprehensive documentation for data solutions, including data architecture, data flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures. Diagnose and resolve data-related issues and provide support to end-users when needed. Use of Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, Azure SQL, T-SQL, Power BI, SSIS, and SQL Server. Travel and/or relocation required.

REQUIREMENTS: Position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Technology Lead, Technical Analyst, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and SQL Server. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
