Waltonen Solid Edge Instructor in Troy, Michigan

Waltonen Engineering is seeking a dedicated Solid Edge Instructor to join our team! 

Responsibilities

  • Work under the guidance of Geometric Solutions' Managing Director

  • Provide course instruction and demonstration in an in-person and/or online class setting for Solid Edge learners

  • If teaching online, work with IT to set up and maintain the professional and seamless presentation of virtual classes

  • Attend a mandatory orientation session and complete online compliance training

  • Must teach live in-person and/or online for all scheduled class sessions and respond to participant questions and/or feedback

  • Keep abreast of developments in latest features, tools, and industry trends and/or instruction and propose new classes annually to Program Manager, if applicable

  • Training Certificates such as Solid Edge Certification or similar

    Qualifications

  • Report to Geometric Solutions Managing Director

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Solid Edge software 

  • Strong problem-solving abilities to assist students in overcoming software-related challenges

  • If teaching online, must be willing and able to teach virtually while maintaining the high-quality class experience that participants expect of in-person classes

  • Must have demonstrated skills and/or experience in instruction 

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse learners

    Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience

  • Associate's Degree or higher in Engineering or Related Field
