Amazon Logistics Japan is looking to hire an experienced Program Manager to lead the execution of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) that impact the direction of the whole JP network. You will also be coordinating the continuous improvement and operational excellence projects in Japan to deliver a world class customer experience. Your true hands-on approach, operational inclination, analytical skills, and the ability to build and leverage relationships across a wide stakeholder group will enable you to generate creative solutions to industry level strategic problems.

Key job responsibilities

  • Support implementing Tools, Guidelines, Reports and Projects within the country, including being the Program Manager or the Sponsor for operations projects and being the main country POC for both internal and external stakeholders

  • Actively manage the growth of the network and standardize processes

  • Clearly communicate dependencies and manage/track expectations

  • Actively help to support improvement on plan accuracy and process flow

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • Experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics

  • Business level English

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

  • Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture
