It’s an unmatched opportunity to develop and implement various program that enhances the capabilities of supply chain team across business unit on a global scale. This position plays a crucial role in fostering a world class skilled, highly engaging, and energetic global supply team of 200+ members, across multiple functions of supply chain like Supply Planning, DC Planning, Logistics and Factory.

Role will report to the Head of Supply Transformation for Data and Devices “DND” Business Unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Critical Skill Mapping and Assessment: In collaboration with supply chain functional leaders, develop a comprehensive critical skills framework, which is needed to achieve Supply Chain Transformation Vision. Drive assessment of current capabilities - Identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.

  • Training Strategy: Developing a training strategy aligned with the SC organization's goals and objectives. Identifying skill gaps and learning needs to determine training priorities.

  • Global Training Programs: Designing, implementing, and managing training programs that cater to the needs of employees in various regions and countries. Ensuring consistency in training content and delivery methods.

  • Training Content Development: Overseeing the creation of training materials and resources. Collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

  • Training Delivery: Coordinating and facilitating training sessions, workshops, webinars, and other learning activities. Utilizing various training methodologies to accommodate different learning styles.

  • Development of Job Role Standardization, and Qualification Matrix. Drive role documentations, clarity, and accountability.

  • Animation of multiple touch points with organization to energize: Monthly Townhalls, Newsletters, Internal Social Network promoting of best practices.

  • Effectiveness of programs through feedback and assessments.

What your background should look like:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in in a multinational environment, with 3 years+ of people management. Previous roles in capability development are highly desirable.

  • Strong knowledge and experience in supply chain management (areas such as supply planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution), best practices, and industry trends on a global scale. Familiarity with supply chain challenges and cultural considerations in various regions.

  • Skill Network Development: Experience in building and maintaining a network of supply chain professionals, fostering knowledge-sharing, and facilitating collaboration.

  • Ability to design effective and engaging training materials, including presentations, training manuals, and interactive activities.

  • Proven experience in delivering training programs. Familiarity with various training methodologies and learning styles.

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead and inspire diverse teams in a global setting.

  • Skill in managing change associated with implementing new training programs and ensuring successful adoption by employees.

  • Excellent ‘English’ communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to articulate and engage stakeholders at all levels.

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.
