Eaton Corporation Project Applications Engineer in Tanauan City, Philippines

What you’ll do:

The primary responsibility of the Project Applications Engineer is to support efforts to profitably grow project sales as a member of the Projects team. Primary areas of focus will be project bill of material creation with a focus on Airport Lighting Products such as runway lighting and signs, electrical vaults, and controls systems. Inside technical sales support responsibilities will include developing project bill of materials, project specification, project take-offs, bid preparation, documentation development, documentation management, and other back-office support required.

  • Acts as the lead project take off support for ALP airfield lighting projects leveraging technical and project management skills to coordinate all activities during the project life cycle.

  • Work with internal and external sales and engineering resources to develop project plans.

  • Search aggregator websites / open-source information for new opportunities and log opportunities and qualify them together with region RSM.

  • Perform project design tasks, including but not limited to; material and engineering services take-off, quotation, calculations development of scope documents, drawing layouts, submittal creation, release schedules, and post order documentation creation.

  • Works with outside sales to develop cost-effective solutions to meet the customer and project needs.

  • Identifies potential/actual problems requiring attention and provides alternative solutions when identified for project completion.

  • Customer and Site visits as necessary to perform installation inspections, problem resolution, etc.

  • Acts as the primary representative for internal project technical assistance.

  • Other duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering graduate

  • 3 years of technical project experience in airport lighting/area lighting

Skills:

  • Area/airport lighting design using Dialux, Autocad. Experience working with bidding stage contractor’s company. Knowledge of project documentation requirements for Oil & Gas, Power, Mining, heavy industrial or infrastructure projects.
