Bath Planet Marketing Event Coordinator in Tampa, Florida

CMK Construction Inc / Bath Planet is seeking an Marketing Events Coordinator in our Tampa, FL office. In this role, you are responsible for finding new events to ensure that event sales and gross profit goals are reached.

This position is tasked with developing demonstrators though effective coaching, mentoring, motivating, training and accountability. As the administrator and coordinator, you will provide the necessary planning, organization, direction and control of each event scheduled.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Events Coordinator will be responsible for a team of event staff that directly reports to you.

Responsibilities

The principle duties and responsibilities of the Events Coordinator consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provides on the job coaching, mentoring and motivating to ensure that assigned  demonstrators stay on task.

  • Must have a positive attitude.

  • Identifies development requirements and then holds the demonstrators accountable for assigned objectives.

  • Holds the events demonstrators responsible for the behaviors that are needed to meet or exceed performance.

  • Effectively and constantly recruiting new demonstrators.

  • Maintain a visual pipeline on all demonstrators and takes immediate action if a demonstrator falls behind on the required behaviors.

  • Attends weekly meetings and provides results of that weekend’s Events.

  • Ensures that set appointment goals are achieved at each Event.

  • Ensures that event expenses are reasonable, appropriate and within budget, develops marketing tactics and execution plan for each event to ensure successful revenue return.

  • Acts within the letter and spirit of the laws that Florida operates.

  • Prepares an events budget for the business plan detailing events, sales, expenses, headcount and wages.

  • Maintains strong customer relationships.

  • Demonstrates the ability to tactfully handle difficult situations while maintaining a  professional demeanor.

  • Organizations skills are a must and must be maintained at all times.

  • Works with the Marketing Department and Confirmation Manager as needed.

  • Assures the confidentiality of all sensitive company information.

  • Must have your own vehicle and be available to work most weekends.
