Citibank, N.A. seeks an Apps Development Sr. Manager for its Tampa, FL location.

Duties: Oversee applications developed by the team of developers for technical issue escalation and prioritize technical issue resolution. Provide technical oversight across systems and applications and support the implementation of global funds transfer pricing. Communicate applications reporting data requirements, data delivery and data quality issues with internal and external departmental interdependence as well as cross product and cross project. Resolve reporting issues using in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within applications development. Analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business processes, system processes, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement. Contribute to planning, budget management, formulation of procedures, and resource planning negotiating with external parties when necessary. Drive the efficiency and clear any technical, architectural and process related roadblocks. Responsible for global rollouts of project releases to ensure the smooth transition of the developed code into the production environment using proper migration techniques and steps, involved in incorporating complicated requirements and designs through the development of complex big data and Abinitio ETL code and validating the same through proper testing. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must possess six (6) years of experience with all of the following: Delivering enterprise-scale applications in Big data technologies; Utilizing wide range of Application-Development Tech Stack in ETL technologies and Data warehousing; Utilizing Agile Methodology; Using various unit testing, integration testing and functional testing tools; Big data Hadoop using HDFS, Sqoop, Hive, HBASE, PIG, Spark, Scala, Kafka, and Oozie; Oracle; DB2; SQL Server; Ab Initio. 40 hrs./wk.
