About the Position: *Serves as an Engineering Technician responsible for performing a variety of office engineering duties in support of Construction Branch activities. *Note Qualification section below eligibility factors to apply.*

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience:

*For the GS-07: *One year of specialized experience which includes one (1) or more of the following; (1) assisting with engineering duties in support of construction activities, (2) providing administrative and technical support, (3) reviewing drawings, plans, and specifications, (4) assisting with preparation of government contracts, (5) preparing a variety of documents and recurring reports, and (6) applying regulations, policies and procedures related to construction engineering practices. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
