The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Can Making Plant in Revesby, New South Wales, which is going under an $85 million capacity expansion.Reporting into the Mechanical Supervisor and working 6am – 2:30pm Monday to Friday the Day Maintenance Fitte r responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • On-going maintenance of machinery, equipment and services, to assist in meeting or exceeding siteobjectives (Production, Quality, Spoilage).

  • Actively pursuing mechanical maintenance improvements to achieve production targets andimprove plant uptime.

  • Safety: Demonstrates an exemplary safety ethic – Leading by example and setting standards for the health,safety and wellbeing.

  • Quality: Drive a high-quality culture and standard.

All About You

  • Mechanical Trade Certificate with Advanced Certificate preferred.

  • Experience in Industry/Manufacturing, high speed, 24/7 production environments

  • 3 years mechanical maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment

  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Team player

  • Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills

*Be able to meet requirements of Orora’s pre-employment medical which includes drug & alcohol testing
