Summary:

The RL Devices team is focused on delivering consumer products at scale (Quest, Wearables, Accessories and new devices). The RL Devices team seeks a Technical Program Manager, Fan Module who has experience as a TPM in Fan module development. As the Fan module TPM, you will be responsible for collecting cross-functional inputs to support the team in designing, validating, and delivering products at scale. You will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. You have a passion for problem solving and love finding creative solutions to help teams accomplish bold things.

Required Skills:

Technical Program Manager - Fan Module Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Program Manager for Fan module design team leading electrical and mechanical component development and systems integration

  2. End-to-end ownership and coordination of Fan module design team activities from product concept through launch

  3. Lead collaboration with cross-functional engineering and operations teams to realize product vision

  4. Contribute to design process and best practices for the organization

  5. Collaborate closely with the manufacturing operations team and Asia-based partners

  6. Drive multiple Fan module suppliers and activities at our final assembly house from initial prototype through ramp

  7. Understand and communicate complex, technical and Engineering issues to cross-functional partners and executive leadership

  8. Identify and resolve conflicts, inter-dependencies and program issues quickly

  9. 10% international and domestic travel

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BS in engineering or equivalent industry experience and extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes

  2. 3+ years of experience in engineering program management or a relevant engineering field, with a proven hands-on approach

  3. Familiarity with development processes for fan modules and driving qualification plans

  4. Experience working with CM/JDM partners and component level suppliers

  5. Understanding complex supply chains and experience bringing up new suppliers

  2. Extensive knowledge of Fan modules and manufacturing processes

  3. 5+ years of hands on program management experience

Public Compensation:

$134,000/year to $196,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
