Amazon Executive Assistant, Sustaining Operations in Sunnyvale, California

Description

Amazon is seeking a dedicated, resourceful, self-motivated Executive Assistant to support multiple Directors within our Sustaining Operations team, and who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization.

In this role, you understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs and drive improvements to build capacity for the leadership team. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information as well as professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside and outside of the company is critical. You possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the whole picture.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating domestic and international travel

  • Handle confidential information while maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives

  • Support and build a positive team environment, by driving engagement activities and establishing working relationships inside and outside of the group

  • Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items

  • Act as a liaison for direct reports

  • Document writing, editing, and readiness

  • Maintain and organize confidential information and files

  • Develop and implement efficient administrative systems and processes

  • Travel 10% domestic and international

About the team

Global Operations Devices, Services & Systems takes the Product line responsibility during the Mass Production phase on behalf of the Operations and Supply Chain organization. We ensure a competitive product line. We are the Single Threaded Owners (STOs) for Internationalization, we act as leaders during issues in the product or supply chain affecting our deliverables. We implement necessary initiatives or changes to support larger business goals. Our Operations team consist of Operations Program Managers, Material Program Managers and Business Intelligence engineers.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of senior level leadership support, or 1+ years of Amazon experience

  • High school or equivalent diploma

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

  • Experience with executive level calendar management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

  • Experience managing multiple calendars

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Superior attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Demonstrated ability to design and improve processes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
