We are recruiting for an experiencedAccount Managerbased inPenang, Malaysiato join our Wound Care business. This role involves identifying and maximizing both new and existing sales opportunities in Wound Management to achieve agreed sales targets which enhances the business in accordance to strategy. This role also prioritizes in the efficient use of selling time and resources, be involved in overall financial goals and targets and set KPI for sales force in the Wound Care Business.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Achieve agreed total sales targets in WC business and specified key focus accounts with sales targets are achieved.

  • Network Accounts, mapping and developing contacts with key decision makers and influencers beyond the standard sales call.

  • Promote the full range of products to Accounts, to increase sales revenue and to achieve strategic supplier status in these accounts.

  • Manage an agreed and balanced number of Key accounts. As projects are realised or become reprioritised, they should be replaced by new opportunities.

  • Full consultation and liaison with National Sales Managers to ensure that planned activities are in line with and support over all strategies and objectives.

  • Raise awareness and understanding of key MHC messages to decision makers in the WC segment in order to secure listing of our products.

  • Support our in market research, sales calls, training, launches of new products etc.

  • Seek market information on competitor activities and products to help shape accurate strategies and marketing campaigns.

  • Develop the Molnlycke Health Care profile with key decision makers and professional bodies and build added value relationships to ensure company sales targets are met.

  • Lead and coach product specialists and secure optimal resource planning in order to ensure highest possible efficiency.

  • Identify training needs in order to develop competencies required to improve performance and meet customer needs.

    KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree in any field. MBA would be advantage.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in Account Manager or equal experience in marketing or sales management.

  • Strong understanding of the medical industry.

  • Excellent communications and relationship development.

  • Analytical and independent.

    OTHER INFORMATION

  • Good command in English both written and verbal form. These skills are also necessary in the drafting of reports and presents to manager.

  • Computer literacy ; high proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and MS Excel.

  • Proven Account Management skills
