Role Summary

Perform skilled journey-level work in the construction, maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic equipment, apparatus and fixtures used in an industrial stamping facility supporting Manufacturing to meet production schedules and ensure work is performed in accordance with MIOSHA & Magna safety regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities

Also, install and maintenance of building electrical. | | | | Installation and maintenance of building and machine pneumatics. | | | | Installation of electrical and mechanical components and systems for | | presses, custom equipment, machinery and all related equipment. | | | | Repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of CNC's. | | | | Diagnoses all malfunctioning equipment including electrical apparatus | | such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and corrects the | | issue, which can include replacing damaged or broken wires and | | cables. | | | | Programming logical controllers and peripheral devices such as Allen | | Bradley and all other programmable controllers used to control | | automated machinery, such as presses, welders and robots. | | | | Troubleshoot electrical and logic circuits using various PLC Software | | and electrical metering equipment. | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+

Key Qualifications/Requirements

Mechatronics technician degree desired. Mechanical troubleshooting skills including ability to diagnose malfunctioning systems, gearbox rebuild, pumps, and motors repairs. Knowledge of CNC's, Stamping Presses and related machinery. Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet. Knowledge of building codes. Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot PLC's, Servo systems, Hydraulic systems, Pneumatic Systems, electrical controls, various types of HMI's and associated logic. Competent with programming/commissioning of VFD's, Fanuc control and logic knowledge. Ability to work with 3-phase, 480 volts. General Fabrication skills preferred. Must have own tools or ability to obtain tools required.
