Currently, we are seeking a talented Jr. Data Analyst to join our team. As a Jr. Data Analyst at TechOp Solutions International, you will play a crucial role in helping inform the development of strategies and supporting continuous enhancement of business processes through data collection and analysis, along with technology and process improvements for our government client.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts research and prepares management, organizational and business analyses, and forecasts using data science tools.
  • Work independently as a part of a workstream to provide analytical and statistical support.
  • Generate management tools that effectively control programs, generate reports, and support the programmatic development of operational applications of the tools or analysis that are focused around operations research and document findings.
  • Develop custom automation solutions to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Prepare briefings and issue papers, studies, recommendation, responses, and reports about the mission, activities, and related statistics.
  • Develop, test, and deploy new data science models according to agency needs.
  • Identify new data sets which would enhance the accuracy of existing models and dashboards.
  • Analyze the impact of the effects of a regulation, policy, program, etc. and the effects of changes in budget, staffing, or policy/priority changes on resources, performance, or schedule. :::

Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid foundation in data analysis.
  • Write and optimize queries using SQL and Python in Databricks to manipulate and analyze data sets.
  • Compile detailed reports in Excel, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
  • Conduct thorough data validation on work products to maintain high standards of quality.
  • Present findings and demonstrate project results to client stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience with Databricks and Oracle Analytics Server.
  • Previous experience working with or at ICE is highly advantageous.
  • 1-3 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field is preferred. :::
