Gratiot Isabella RESD School Bus Driver - St. Louis Public Schools in St Louis, Michigan

Position Title: Full Time Bus Route Driver (part-time positions also availible)

Salary: Per USW agreement; Route $19.65, Extra trips $14.88

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma (or GED/Equivalent).
  • CDL Class B, with P, S, and air brake endorsements (or willing to train).
  • Must be able to pass DOT physical.
  • Must be able to pass DOT drug and alcohol test.

Requirements:

  • Good safe driving record and follow Federal, State, and Department of Education laws.
  • Able to do daily inspection of bus and report any problems.
  • Attention to detail in keeping a safe and clean bus environment.
  • Knowledge of first aid and willing and able to respond to emergency and non-emergency situations.
  • Ability to enforce discipline and safety rules as needed to maintain a safe environment.
  • Complete all paperwork and submit on a timely manner.
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude with students, staff, and administration.
