ASSOCIATED FOOD STORES, INC. Freight Crew Supervisor (Lin's Mall Dr)-St. George, UT in ST. GEORGE, Utah

Wage $17.19-$19.10 per hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Supervises entire graveyard stocking operations including all graveyard team members.
  • Maintains ordering, pricing, stocking and rotation of merchandise.
  • Provides instruction and training for all team members regarding the proper methods of product handling, case cutting, price marking, rotation and display of merchandise.
  • Develops and coordinates work schedules to insure maximum productivity and efficiency.
  • Works with Grocery Merchant to perform team member evaluations and any disciplinary issues effectively and timely. Maintains consistency between team members when administering these functions.
  • Assists in the stocking and displaying of all products in a fast, efficient and safe manner taking care to avoid product damage while maintaining stocking goals.
  • Maintains a well-stocked store through an effective control of inventory in line with established guidelines.
  • Follow through and achieves all company policies, programs and directives that apply to stocking operations.
  • Maintains measures and achieves established cases per man-hour and price changes per man-hour goal.
  • Ensures that all price changes are completed on time, legibly and accurately to meet company policies.
  • Maintains adequate and appropriate department records at all times.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS

Work is generally performed in a safe and comfortable store environment with the possibility of frequent exposure to hot or cold conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to grasp, push, pull, carry, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach; perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and eye, hand and foot coordination; hear and respond to customer inquiries. Also requires standing, walking and bending throughout the entire work day and the ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 30 pounds from location to location.
