B.H. Inc. Civil Engineer (PE)/Civil Project Manager in St. George, Utah
B.H. Inc., of Vernal, Utah, is searching for a full-time Civil Engineer (PE)/Civil Project Manager to oversee project execution of EPC contracts and performing in-house design work as a civil and structural designer. As a Civil Engineer you will be responsible for planning and designing of moderately complex projects while working closely with Project Management to facilitate the successful accomplishment of project goals and objectives. This position will be in one of our offices and relocation assistance is available if you desire to work at our corporate office in Vernal, Utah. We are willing to pay for the best candidate for this civil project manager role. If you have what we're looking for, your salary is highly negotiable and could exceed our range of $75,000 to $100,000 (DOE). QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CIVIL PROJECT MANAGER
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering degree required.
4+ years of related professional experience or other comparable experience.
Experience using design software (i.e. Civil 3D, Excel, Revit, Enercalc, RISA, Flowmaster, WaterCAD, Word, etc.).
1-year experience designing in Revit preferred.
3-years' experience designing in Civil 3D preferred.
Experience managing design projects.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CIVIL PROJECT MANAGER
As the civil project manager within our engineering division, you will manage the interaction between the construction team and the engineering firms acting as subconsultants or partners. You will manage the scope of work, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and ensure all contractual obligations are met. As an essential priority, you will establish and maintain excellent working relationships with owners, clients, engineers, inspectors, and design consultants. You will also organize, conduct, and represent BHI at client project design review meetings.
In addition, as the engineering project manager, you will utilize your skills obtained with your engineering experience and through internal training to prepare engineered design work for in-house engineering project. These could include all disciplines of Civil Engineering (civil, structural, hydraulics, soils). Experience working with AutoCAD Civil 3D is highly preferred, as this software will be at a minimum weekly, if not daily.
