Scholastic Classroom Magazine Supervisor in St. Charles, Illinois

Job Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage marketing projects to ensure each meets the annual Classroom Magazine budget including hours, subscriptions, and revenue.

  • Responsible for managing all aspects of a staff of 12-14 Classroom Magazine Inside Sales Representatives – help them to be successful in meeting their sales goals (and all other job duties)

  • Implement company policies in a fair and equitable manner including performance evaluations and disciplinary action.

  • Coach, monitor, motivate, and work one on one with sales team to ensure success

  • Identify new sales and marketing opportunities for the business unit.

  • Create contests and activities to motivate the team.

  • Must be willing to work additional hours and/or hours outside of the primary shift to meet business needs.

  • Provide ongoing feedback and detailed analysis of all sales projects to Center Director

  • Required to work on site 5 days per week (there are opportunities during lower staffed months to work a small percent of time from home)​

  • Prior Sales Management Experience preferred, not mandatory.

  • Proven track record in Inside Sales

  • Ability/ Experience in market/ sales analysis
