MENTAL HLTH SVC FOR CLARK & MADISON COUNTIES Psychiatric Registered Nurse in Springfield, Ohio

MHS currently has full-time, part-time and PRN opportunities for Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) on the 24-Hour Acute Care Unit (in-patient services) located in Springfield, OH. Alternating weekends and holidays may be required depending on your status and shift. Our 16 bed unit is *fast paced environment, and prior mental or behavioral health experience is preferred but not required. We have both 8 and 12-hour shifts available. *
As a nurse on the ACU, you are responsible for the overall care and safety of patients assigned to the unit, admissions/discharges during shift to the unit, medication administration, charting as required in the Electronic Health Record and supervision of the MHT's assigned to you during each shifts
We currently have the following shifts:
- FT/PT 3-11PM (5 days/wk.)
- FT/PT 7P-7A (3 days/wk.)
- FT/PT 11P-7A (5 days/wk.)
- PRN
Qualified candidates will have:
- OH RN or LPN license, active and valid
1 year of behavioral or mental health experience as a nurse

*All MHS candidates are required to have an Ohio BCI check (FBI check required if you have lived in Ohio for less than 5 years, or for working with children), 5-panel drug screen and residential candidates must have a 2 step TB (or proof of prior TB) upon conditional offer of employment. *
