QUALITY SUPERVISOR - 2ND SHIFT DETROIT, MI - DETROIT CONNER STREET PLANT

As a member of the Quality team, the Quality Supervisor will be responsible forworking in a high-performance self-directed work team environment and partner with our management team to align our quality initiatives and functions with the objectives of the business. This position will be in Lear's newly forming Detroit - Conner Street seating plant.

The Role: Your work will include, but not be limited to: Manage Quality Assurance hourly team to ensure that job responsibilities are fulfilled Ensure customer satisfaction through quick follow up to problems/ customer concerns, good root cause analysis, & complete feedback Communicate on all customer and internal issues and work with the Quality Engineer on each item Communicate build process concerns to work areas Publish Quality Alerts as required Continuously review process to look for process improvement activities Review scrap data to evaluate necessary corrective action Assure that Quality Assurance teams have the appropriate tools to perform their job efficiently Assure UAW contract is followed by adhering to procedures as outline in the local agreement Ensure Quality Assurance hourly team time and attendance is reviewed daily and maintained and approved prior to payroll close each week Participate in Root Cause Analysis Assure gages and test fixtures are in proper working order Maintain records for defective products entering and leaving the salvage hold area Coordinate in-plant-sorting activities Monitor all inspectors to ensure compliance to inspection / test standards Verify supporting quality documentation is completed correctly and filed appropriately Assist in TS16949/ISO 14001 maintenance Review supporting quality documentation to ensure it is filled out completely and correctly Gather and distribute daily scrap data for huddle board Other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field Minimum of 2 years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing operation Experience with AIAG, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, APQP, and SPC processes Strong shopfloor leadership skills
