Job Responsibilities

  • Uphold and embrace CBRE and ExxonMobil Health and Safety requirements

  • Demonstrate a strong behavioural commitment to Health and Safety.

  • Become actively involved in client Loss Prevention System (LPS) operation and adopt requirements as an integral part of day to day activities.

  • Carry out reactive HVAC works to a high quality standard which is compliant with statutory regulations and SLA’s

  • Carry out HVAC and Electrical related planned maintenance activities to a high quality standard and in accordance with CMMS work plans.

  • Undertake HVAC and electrical installation work in accordance with regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain F Gas register and maintenance log books

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant standards for all works.

  • Specify materials and spare parts as required for reactive or planned maintenance on HVAC and Electrical related activities.

  • Perform electrical isolations and accurately complete associated documentation.

  • Work within the requirements of the site Permit to Work system.

  • Updating maintenance records either electronically or on paper based system.

  • Utilise MEWP’s and other access equipment as required for working at height.

  • Ability to deliver work to a high standard and correct first time.

  • Actively support continuous improvement and efficiency programs to promote best practice solutions.

  • Participate in emergency call out rota

  • Buddy third party service providers to ensure compliance with site rules and requirements as and when required.

  • Participate in training and development programs as agreed with Supervision.

  • Driving vehicles including vans for the purpose of undertaking work activities.

  • Uphold housekeeping standards for CBRE and customer work areas.

  • Assist other Team members and trades when required with other duties within personal competencies

  • Demonstrate a focus on customer satisfaction.

  • Develop positive customer relationships.

  • Person Skills

  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Qualified HVAC Engineer with at least 5 years building services experience.

  • F Gas registered.

  • Valid City & Guilds Safe Handling Certificate.

  • Qualified Electrician with at least 3 years experience

  • 18 th Edition IEE wiring regulations

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus a minimum of seven years experience as a licensed electrician. Completion a formal apprenticeship program preferred. Prior experience with DDC and EMS preferred.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

Valid driver's license required.

Master Electrician license as dictated by local electrical codes

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles and to understand operating budgets. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

Uses personal computer and / or PDA for work order system, email, ESS and training. Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook. Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with thorough knowledge of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
