Aerotek Inventory Specialist II in South San Francisco, California

Inventory Specialist II

Pay Rate: $26-$32/hr

Description:

Receive and ship materials to the Labs

Write out physically/virtually all inbound and outbound material.

Enter data and perform inventory transactions with the ERP system with a high level of detail

Maintain and follow Inventory controls and procedures to ensure compliance with Lab Procedures and SOP regulations

Ensure material availability in all laboratory and stockroom

Assist in routine support tasks, projects and initiatives to keep inventory locations secured, organized, and supplied

Routine cycle counts as assigned

Monthly and quarterly inventory counts to maintain inventory accuracy

Pick up and dispose of biological material that has expired

Make sure all labs have the right materials that the scientist need

Must be able to listen to health and safety procedures

other duties as assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

3+ years working experience in inventory management and warehouse operations within a regulated industry

Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs

Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time

Proficiency to execute transactions within an ERP required, NetSuite preferred

Demonstrate strong organizational skills with a attention to detail

Capability to manage multiple workflows and competing priorities while exercising good business judgment
