Amro Fabrication Corp Maintenance Technician in South El Monte, California

Maintenance Lead; oversee the preventive maintenance program, daily maintenance, repair of AMRO machinery, facilities and moving vehicles. Lead Maintenance personnel in maintaining and ensuring that the Company equipment is in good safe operating condition in the support of Manufacturing and Facilities. Maintenance Lead must also be able to explain the respective role within the QMS and how their role contributes to quality (Ref. Quality Procedures) and Safety. Maintenance Lead shall have a strong safety background and be aware of ethical behavior and conduct themselves accordingly to AMRO policies and procedures (Ref. Employee Handbook).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and Realize AS 9100 procedures and continuous improvement efforts
  • Oversee the safety operational procedures and preventive maintenance of equipment
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
  • Responsible for the Preventive Maintenance program (PM)
  • Responsible for maintaining the facility in good safe operating manner
  • Responsible for maintaining the manufacturing equipment in good safe operating manner
  • Responsible for maintaining the tools in good safe operating manner
  • Responsible for scheduling the maintenance personnel activities and assuring that the assignment is done correctly and in a timely manner
  • Responsible for coordinating repairs requiring outside suppliers
  • Must understand how customer products are impacted in the event of failure
  • Must understand the safety impact of facilities, equipment and vehicles which are controlled by OSHA statutory and regulatory regulations of all related agencies
  • Any other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High school graduate or equivalent in work experience
  • Adequate years of experience in repairs of tools and manufacturing equipment determined by AMRO
  • Adequate years of years experience monitoring preventive maintenance programs determined but AMRO
  • Must have working knowledge of CNC machines and able to do repairs as required
  • Strong background in machine maintenance
  • Strong background in manufacturing safety
  • Must be detail oriented, extremely organized, posses good communication skills and be able to interact with Suppliers, Management and staff
  • Must have working knowledge of manufacturing equipment repairs
  • Must have working knowledge of electrical application
  • Must have working knowledge of preventive maintenance programs
  • Must have working knowledge of hazardous waste and safety applications
  • Must have direct communication with internal customers
  • Must be trained of applicable changes and customer requirements
  • Must know the QMS basic system of reporting, record keeping and follow instructions
  • Must be familiar with applicable statutory and regulatory regulations in building, grounds and machinery record maintenance
