Insight Global Direct Care Worker - 1st Shift (7 am - 3 pm) in South Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

One of the largest clients of Insight Global Health is looking to hire a Direct Care Professional / Certified Nursing Assistants to support Group Homes in South Boston on the first shift (hours: 7 am - 3 pm)!

There is openings on first shift, the days on and off are as follows:

Opening One

  • Days on: Wednesdays - Sunday

  • Days off: Monday and Tuesday

Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):

· Provide support to individuals by assisting in the development and implementation of habilitative, behavioral and recreational programs in accordance with the Individual Service Plan (ISP) objectives

· Coordinate with direct supervisor(s) to ensure successful implementation of ISP's, use of appropriate methods, coordination of services and crisis intervention

· Assist and facilitate activities of daily living, such as household maintenance, self-care and hygiene (bathing & toileting), food shopping and preparation, budgeting, leisure activities and socialization skill development

· Attend individuals' review meetings and accompany them to various appointments; Transport individuals to work, recreational activities and other engagements as needed

Maintain individuals' confidentiality and records; preserve individuals' human rights by complying with applicable laws and regulation

Skills and Requirements

· Minimum of 2 years' experience with direct support of patients in facility settings (group homes, nursing homes, hospitals, etc.)

· Valid driver's license

· COVID vaccinated (NO exemptions taken, must have both doses)

· Minimum HS diploma or equivalent

· CPR / First Aide through the AHA · Active HHA, PCT, CNA

· MAP certified

· Active BLS

· Group home experience previously null
