Pacific Seafood Shipping & Receiving Clerk in South Bend, Washington

Summary:

To perform all shipping and receiving duties, including materials handling and organization.  Responsible for the daily shipping and receiving functions of the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, check and validate the accuracy of incoming materials

  • Enter receipts into computer

  • Print receiving tickets

  • Identify received materials and deliver for storage/use

  • Pull, package, and ship parts orders according to established procedures

  • Track packages as requested Apply shipping charges to customer orders for invoicing

  • Issue return authorizations

  • Reconcile pallets

  • Weigh outgoing product

  • Load outgoing materials

  • Put stock in designated locations, as needed

  • Maintain a clean organized warehouse, dock and shipping office

  • Scrap handling including preparation for pick-up

  • Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts

  • Report inventory discrepancies

  • Consistently achieves shipment of products without delays or returns

  • Complies with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements/procedures at all times

  • Read and interpret instructions to retrieve, assemble and prepare products/materials for shipment

  • Operate site computerized system and perform required data entry

  • Perform other duties, as assigned

    What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:

    Required:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Two years related experience and/or training

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

    Preferred:

  • Forklift Certification

    Pay Range:  $16.50 - $18.00 hourly
