The EADS Group, Inc. CAD Technician in Somerset, Pennsylvania

The EADS Group, Inc. which began operation in 1955 has an immediate opening for a full-time CAD Technician in our Somerset, PA Office.

 

The CAD Technician position will support the Survey Department by providing detailed drafting and data processing support. Typical duties will include reviewing rough sketches, drawings, and specifications, plot drawings and sketches from field information and survey data showing elevations, cross-sections, mapping and field support. Developing plans and profiles for utility lines, water distribution, and sewage collection systems will be incorporated into one's work.

 

The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree or post secondary training in drafting and design from a technical trade school, two to five years' experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D software, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. The successful candidate will have an aptitude and interest in surveying and survey related tasks.
