LifePoint Health Nuclear Med Tech Reg-Nuclear Medicine-PRN-(Vary) in Somerset, Kentucky

Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals as well as other medications to patients and performs the diagnostic study per physician orders.

Required LicensesOther • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine Technology or registered with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).• Licensed by the State of Kentucky in the discipline of Nuclear Medicine required.

Required SkillsCertifications:• Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire date. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Minimum Work ExperienceExperience in hospital setting preferred.
