The Merchandiser Intern will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with retail customers.  This internship will give rising Sophomores and Juniors a chance to gain hands-on experience working in accounts to ensure that beer is rotated and merchandised to both the supplier and United Distributors, Inc’s (UDI) standards with guidance from UDI’s sales teams. 

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college

  • Reliable transportation

  • Clean driving record

  • Able to secure and maintain auto liability insurance for Georgia

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the sales floor shelves and displays are built to attract consumers with guidance from UDI’s Chain Beer Representatives 

  • Assist customers with creating an organized back stock that allows for easier product accessibility 

  • Learn and maintain knowledge of UDI’s product portfolio 

  • Build innovative & unique beer displays to creatively market UDI’s beer portfolio 

  • Identify cross-merchandising opportunities for unique products that create consumer and retailer excitement

  • Introduce new product launch initiatives

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Able to perform lifting of 30 lbs every day on a consistent basis, with some overhead lifting required
