Aventure Staffing Agronomy Laborer in Sioux Center, Iowa

Agronomy Laborer | Pay based on experience

4 12-hour days with a rotating schedule that would allow for a Friday or Monday off with a possible day off in the middle of the week if the business need arises.

A local agronomy business in the Sioux Center, IA area is looking for a Agronomy Laborer to join their growing team! As an Agronomy Laborer, you will need to be reliable, able to multi-task, and be a hard worker.

Essential Job Functions:

Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklift and payloader.

  • Load fertilizer and closed chemical containers.

  • Maintain general organization and cleanliness of yard.

  • Follow and enforce all safety procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent level of education.

  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

  • Must have some mechanical ability.

  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn crop chemicals and farming practices.

  • Adaptability to changing application technologies and seasonal workload variations.
