Description

We seek energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our MRO team to assist and perform component repair and overhaul in accordance with approved data, aviation standards, and current maintenance organization approvals. As part of your job responsibilities, you are required to complete all work with an extremely high standard of quality and to support hangar maintenance operations as necessary.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

  • Must possess and perform high working knowledge of component tear-down, cleaning, inspection, repairs, modification, testing and reassembly.

  • Responsible to provide a high level working knowledge of Regulatory AD’s, Bell ASB, TB, Service Installations, STC and third party engineering orders on Bell aircraft configurations.

  • Responsible to assist, research and approve the customizing material inventory, planning, seeking engineering support and provide suggestion/technical solution as required.

  • Optimization of component repair and overhaul shop layout and processes.

  • Actively assist with the development of CRO, quotations, proposals and compliance programs.

  • Able to perform all aspects of component repair and overhaul operations in shop, on and off wing and possess the ability to prioritize work flow to a high degree of efficiency.

  • Assist with hanger and mobile works as needed.

  • Ensuring proper safety measures and support of internal or mobile repair operations while protecting the safety of all staff, customers and customers assets.

  • Understand, record and implement effective, proactive preventative maintenance solutions.

  • Maintain shop equipment, tools and publications to a high standard.

  • Foster and participate in improvement of working environment.

  • Work well in a team environment and understand cultural differences within a work place.

  • Become familiar with Maintenance Management software (RAMCO) for work task documentation.

  • Understand and comply with company procedures and policies.

  • Be willing and able to travel offsite to support operations as required.

Qualifications

Education:

  • MinimumNational ITE Certificate/Diploma in Aerospace Technology or equivalent

Skills/Certifications:

  • A&P license or equivalentand able to pass the CAAS for M10, L11, L12 or CO1 IAW SAR-7 Appendix 1 and SAR-66 Appendix 2.

  • Ability to read, write, speak English language.

  • Must be able to read and understand engineering technical data including maintenance manuals, installation instructions and aircraft drawings.

  • Able to perform all aspects of component repair and overhaul operations.

  • Have successfully attended Bell component overhaul training.

  • Good understanding of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR).

  • Competent with Microsoft Office suite.

  • With 5 years maintenance experience on Bell model aircraft with at least 2 years of component overhaul, repair and inspections.

  • We welcome applicants who hold a convertible license with CAAS.

  • Multilingualism and e xperience with RAMCO maintenance software considered an asset
