To be able to fulfil the main duties and responsibilities for the role of Paint Sprayer which includes – Surface preparation, masking, application of paints by brush and air spray techniques and drying procedures

Able to read/interpret Engineering drawings, process specifications and work instructions.

Be responsible for QA process control of operations undertaken.

Work to and comply with HS&E requirements

To train others

To liaise and work with all required personnel within the manufacturing module. To assist and train fellow employees in the above tasks.

Basic Computer skills - Share-point.

Able to read/interpret Engineering drawings, process specifications and work instructions.

Surface Preparation – prepare component surfaces using Vapour blasters, Orbital sanders and manual sanding techniques.

To effectively Mask components prior to paint application using masking tapes and paper.

Paint mixing – to mix paint by volume and viscosity to approved documentation and specifications.

Equipment – competent in setting/adjusting spray guns to required settings and to maintain spray equipment in a good, clean condition.

Paint application – to apply paint by brush and spray techniques to process documentation and specifications.

Drying – to record and oven stove component after paint application in accordance with process documentation and specifications.
