Little Creek Casino Resort Drop & Count Team Member in Shelton, Washington

Join our team as a *part-time *Drop and Count Team Member! We are a seeking a detail-oriented individual to assist in the efficient operation of our drop and count process. As a crucial part of our financial operation, you will safeguard the assets of the Casino by removing, exchanging, collecting, transferring and accurately counting cash boxes from gaming machines, table games and ticket redemption kiosks in accordance with established policies, procedures and gaming regulations.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Remove, exchange and collect all gaming machine and table games drop boxes and transport boxes to the count room.
  • Count and record currency, coin and tickets (clipping, strapping, bundling and bagging as appropriate) from gaming machines, table games and ticket redemption kiosks. 
  • Record mutilated and counterfeit currency and coin and report to TGA, the Cage and Finance.
  • Perform verification, reconciliation and balancing functions including drafting or otherwise preparing any necessary documentation.
  • Verify funds balance to totals and give funds over to a cage cashier upon completion of the cage verify process.
  • Understand and efficiently operate all machines used in the course of business including but not limited to machines used to counting or other information systems, including software and hardware.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  •  High school diploma or GED.
  •  Must be 21 years of age.
  •  Previous cash handling, cage or count experience preferred.
  • Class III Gaming License issued from the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission (must be able to pass a background check).
