Social Finance, LLC seeks Staff Software Engineer, Identity in Seattle, WA: Job Duties: Perform full-development life-cycle design from project requirement to deployment. Own and ideate technical solutions for product requirements and user stories. Participate heavily in code and design reviews. Collaborate and represent engineering with outside stakeholders in product marketing, operations, business, legal, and compliance. Make significant contributions to the code base. Define best practices and uphold coding standards. Consistently demonstrate extremely high levels of technical knowledge, ingenuity, and creativity. Develop and apply advanced technologies, engineering principles, theories, and concepts. Broad knowledge about the design and operation of systems outside of specialty. Mentor junior members of the team and help foster a learning environment within the team. Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies. Telecommuting is an option. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
