Role Summary:

  1. Order preliminary title reports, flood determination, real estate tax tracking and UCC general searches, review and report any potential issues or discrepancies to the Commercial Lender.
  2. Submit and manage requests for appraisal bids the third-party appraisal management company.
  3. Work with the Portfolio Management Team to ensure the annual review and all supporting documents are forwarded to the participating Credit Unions for sold loans.
  4. Quality review of the monthly loan production report. 
  5. Pre-document(s) review- work collaboratively with the commercial lender to gather all necessary documentation to ensure accurate, complete, and timely loan document requests are submitted to the loan processing team.
  6. Annual review of environmental tracking data for all on real estate collateral.  Compiling a list of critical issues. Working with the lender and supervisor for solutions to correct issue.
  7. Assist with training the Commercial Loan Processors
  8. Incumbent will be responsible to provide quality assurance for SBA loans to ensure they are fully documented and compliant with the SOP under which they were approved.
  9. Monthly submission of the SBA Gateway 1502 report and ensure its accuracy.
  10. Provide assistance to the SBA loan processor/closer.
  11. Monitor the credit union's compliance in servicing SBA loans.
  12. Ongoing SBA servicing training to become a subject matter expert.
  13. Continuously keep supervisor informed of member and work concerns, as well as assignment status through reporting or meetings.  Offer guidance and supervision in the absence of the AVP of Commercial Loan Servicing to other Commercial Loan Production Assistants or Commercial Loan Processors.
  14. Assist in the creation and review others written procedures for accuracy and detail.

  5. Solid understanding and the ability to review credit approvals, title reports, organizational documents to ensure adherence with the credit unions lending policy/procedures and regulatory requirements.
